AAPA discussion with AOA

At the beginning of this month, AAPA wrote a letter to the American Osteopathic Association in response to their mischaracterization of the PA profession.  It is no secret that AAPA has been discussing legislative efforts to look at scope of practice determination to be made at the practice level and not made at the individual state level.  This determination would be made in collaboration with the physician and would still have some limitations based on physician practice.  A discussion of the letter sent out to AOA as well as the actual news article written by AOA can be found here at https://www.aapa.org/news-central/2018/11/aapa-president-responds-american-osteopathic-association-press-release/.
