PA Legislation Passes Through Senate Committee!

Posted about 1 month ago by Aaron Woodall in Legislative

Big news! ARAPA's three pieces of legislation to modernize PA practice have passed through the Senate Public Health committee! SB99 (delegation to MAs), SB100 (PCP status), and SB101 (licensure compact) all passed without opposition and will soon face a full vote on the Senate floor. You can read more about these initiatives in our recent newsletter.

These are very exciting updates, but we need your help! Contact your legislators today! Not sure who your legislators are? Find your Senator here and let them know you support SB99, SB100, and SB101. Once these bills pass through the Senate, they will face a vote in the House of Representatives Public Health Committee, so please also find your representative to let them know you support our initiatives as well!

When you put in your address to locate your elected official, it will take you to their profile where you will find their contact information including an email and phone number. You can also call the main directory number to leave a message for your representatives. You will need to let them know your name, which legislator you want to leave a message for, and that you SUPPORT SB99, SB100, and SB101.
