ARAPA Members:
There is an upcoming PA vacancy on the Arkansas State Medical Board (ASMB) PA Subcommittee. This committee is comprised of three PA representatives and two physician representatives who review PA licensure applications. It is the duty of ARAPA to recommend nominees to the ASMB for appointment to the board. If this is something you would be interested in, please apply!
ARAPA will nominate three members to be considered for the position by the ASMB. A qualified candidate will be a PA who is either currently licensed or has had an active AR license within the last five years; has at least three years of practice as a PA; and has been an active ARAPA member for the last two years as well as a current AAPA fellow member. Other qualifications can be found in the attached application brief.
