Position Description
Join a dynamic cardiology team in Missouri as a Physician Assistant for a rewarding locum assignment. This position combines clinical and inpatient work, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in cardiovascular care.
Job Details:
- Start Date: May 2025

Duration: Ongoing, 6+ months
- Schedule: Clinic: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
- Hospital: 7 AM - 4 PM
- Call: In-house and beeper call (4-5 patient calls on weekdays/month, 1 weekend/month)
- Setting: Mix of inpatient and outpatient
- Patient Volume: 19/day in clinic; inpatient varies
- Types of Cases: General cardiology, including patient floor calls, hospital rounds, consults, and clinic visits
- Support Team: 20 RNs, 18 MAs, 10 APPs
- Charting System: EPIC
- Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days
Job Requirements:
- Certification: Board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, ABLS
- Licensure: Valid Missouri or Interstate Medical License
