Additional Information

As society becomes more  diverse so does our clinical practices. It is the mission of Diversity in Dermatology to bring diversified education to the dermatology PA and NP community. Our focus is to bring a variety of educational topics to the forefront that will aide in better communication, understanding, and proper treatment for our patients. DID is invested in diversification of medical, surgical, aesthetic, and clinical research skills of dermatology PAs and NPs in clinical practice. Our goal is to assist in giving you the tools to expand your clinical skills in all of these areas of expertise.

Diversity in Dermatology is here to offer a specialized approach to education, focusing on topics related to diversity in skin of color, multicultural practices, lifestyle medicine and practices, pediatric dermatology, and the approach to the differences in the male and female population.

Our future endeavors will include a guide to clinical research, a journal for dermatology PAs and NPs to give you the opportunity to be published and heard by your colleagues, a professional development division, a aesthetic education division, a foundation for community outreach in underserved areas, and provider and patient resources to assist in every day clinical practice and professional growth.
