Heroes for Hunger 5K

The UAMS PA program would like to invite our colleagues and friends at ARAPA to our annual Heroes Against Hunger 5k, to be held at Murray Park in Little Rock on October 6th. The UAMS PA students have created this 5k to bring awareness to the PA profession in Arkansas, as well as raise money for the Arkansas Food Bank. This has been a very successful fundraiser benefiting the Arkansas Food Bank, with $9812 raised in 2017. With each $1 providing food to 5 children, this is a tremendous amount of support to local Arkansans. The students have set their highest fundraising goal to date, $10,000, for the race this year.

Race registration is now open, and we’d love to celebrate the start of PA week together at the race. Participants can create a team when registering, if they would like to be recognized as a group.
