Position Description

Stable and busy Specialty practice seeks a confident and collaborative Nurse Practitioner/NP or Physician Assistant/PA to work in Medical Oncology in the Tulsa, OK area!

  • Extensive services offered include clinical research, diagnostic radiology, gynecologic oncology, breast surgery, hematology, medical oncology, Mohs surgery, radiation oncology, skin cancer, in-house laboratory, nurse educators, nutrition and a retail pharmacy
  • Nationally certified with QOPI – Quality Oncology Practice Initiative
  • Oncology program boasts 74% of nurses are OCN certified

Benefits and Features:

  • $97 – 107,000/yr, depending on experience plus $15-30k in added RVU bonuses
  • Excellent benefits including Dental, Health, Vision, Life, LTD/STD and 401K and profit sharing
  • Great PTO – 4 weeks, plus 9 holidays

Your Role with the Company:

  • Join a team of more than 20 blood and cancer specialty physicians and 200 nurses and associates.
  • M-F, clinic hours
  • Potentialto take on a leadership position within the practice – 75-80% of the role is direct patient care, and 20-25% leadership; including approval for time off, mentoring, scheduling and assisting with orientation schedule
  • Collaborative environment where NP/PA will have a lot of autonomy
  • Ideal candidate is proactive, efficient and detail oriented

Situated on the Arkansas River at the foothills of the Ozark Mountains in Northeast Oklahoma, this community is considered the cultural arts center of Oklahoma. While the city boasts several different cuisines, they are known nationally for their barbecue offerings; reflecting their midpoint location “between pig country and cow country” on the board of the South and the West. They support a wide array of sports at the professional and collegiate levels. A strong educational system with a variety of independent and public schools as well as many options for higher education as well.

Background Profile:

  • FNP/Family Nurse Practitioner, APRN, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant/PA-C
  • 3+ years of experience in medical oncology as an advanced practice provider
  • Exposure to risk assessments in oncology
  • Working knowledge of EMR systems
